Cynthia- Chief Executive Officer:

Hello! I am Cynthia Cuellar, the founder of YOUR HOME ASSISTANT. I thought I would mention a little bit about myself and why I’ve dedicated countless hours of research, speaking with mothers and fathers, school teachers, professionals from many fields, and more, all to acquire a true understanding of what is truly needed in every community…YOUR HOME ASSISTANT. I am a working wife, and mother to three beautiful children, all currently under the age of 6, including a baby.

As a working mother, who was also going to school for my MBA, there was a time we found ourselves in need of real help and nowhere to turn. My father-in-law needed our time and attention, and while we did try to accommodate him, I have always felt that we fell short in meeting his needs. I discovered during that time, that there were no local companies who could assist us with non-medical needs for a senior.

I also found times that I could have just used that extra pair of hands for myself to help with laundry, loading the dishwasher, tidying up the house, do the grocery shopping, and so much more. These tasks all took me away of the care and time I wanted to be giving to my children when I was at home.

That is where the seed of the idea began and I’ve spent the last few years fine-tuning the idea into a business that would meet all the non-medical needs for seniors, as well home assistance for growing families, and professionals who spend a great deal of time working, with very little time left for the everyday tasks at home. I have created a place everyone can turn to for that extra assistance at home, at cost-efficient rates, dedicated personal assistants, and a stellar caliber of care. We are YOUR HOME ASSISTANT!

Esterlee- Executive Assistant:

As the Executive Assistant, Esterlee utilizes her versatility and extensive knowledge to effectively handle any and all tasks. Esterlee wears many hats within the company, one of which is being the head of the human resources department where she directly manages the company’s administrative responsibilities, leads the on-boarding process, and maintains complete oversight of payroll. Combining her multiple degrees (AA in both Social Science and Legal Studies) with her six years of considerable experience in social services, Esterlee has proven to be a pillar of support for both the company and community.

Alex- Community Relations Coordinator

As the Community Relations Coordinator, Alex’s main goal is to help facilitate relations between the company and the local communities we serve! With his title, Alex handles the company’s marketing strategy, including the development of content and overall presence in community events. After graduating from Galt High School, Alex continued his studies at California State University, Fullerton, where he received his degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. Alex uses his experience and comprehension of public needs to keep his finger on the pulse of the community!

Jessica- Lead Scheduler and Client Services Coordinator

Jessica brings with her over 20 years of experience, having a background that covers all areas of care. She has been a Residential Care Coordinator at a memory care facility, a Care Manager for a fiduciary, and a caregiver for multiple agencies, including Your Home Assistant. As a caregiver Jessica has worked in private homes, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing facilities. As someone who has done it all in the care industry, her main goal as the Lead Scheduler/Client Care Coordinator is to proactively prevent caregiver burnout while also finding the best fits between clients and assistants in order to provide the best service possible for all clients. Jessica adds experience to our administration team, while also demonstrating great attention to detail from her time in the field.
